Pattern Details

Knitters of all levels can make this stylish poncho creating a satisfying experience to knit. This poncho was designed keeping diversity in mind. I wanted to create a garment that could be worn as a casual, everyday piece as well as being dressy depending on the occasion and what you are wearing underneath. The seed stitch trim and cowl add to the quality of the design giving it a classy look. As a bonus, the poncho folds small, taking up minimal space making it a great travel piece. Any DK weight fiber with a beautiful drape and great stitch definition will make an exquisite poncho you will be proud to wear. Size can be easily adjusted. Simply sophisticated. Pattern includes written instruction, charts and information to adjust size. GAUGE 20 stitches / 30 rows = 4" in stockinette stitch, wet blocked. SUGGESTED YARN 1100 yards of DK weight PREFERRED BRAND/YARN Rowan, Wool Cotton Cascade, Anchor Bay Elsebeth Levold, Silky Wool COLORWAY Rowan: Misty - 903 ------------------------------------

I am a knitting addict and designer. I was fortunate to have a very talented mother who taught me to knit and crochet when I was young. While writing patterns, I think about what I want when I am following someone else's pattern which is charts for knitting lace and written instruction for most everything else. All my patterns have both charts and written instruction when possible. I take pride in our patterns. Each pattern is test knitted by expert testers/knitting detectives and the patterns are professionally edited. Please don’t hesitate to contact me at if you have any questions. Thank you and I hope you enjoy knitting my designs.
