Pattern Details

A longer, easy-fitting pullover in ten sizes (XS/S/M/L/1X/2X/3X/4X/5X/6X). Optional short row shaping adds a bit of length at the back hem; neck and hems are finished with narrow ribbing. Accented by vertical bands of mock cable texture with a touch of openwork, this piece works up well in a cool hemp or cotton blend for spring and summer or soft wool for fall and winter; it will be a year-round favorite for home, office, and travel. Substituting yarn and/or needles may result in an overall variation in size and drape. Finished Size: 35.5 (38.5, 41.5, 45, 48, 51.5, 54.5, 57.5, 61, 64) inches / 90 (98, 105.5, 114.5, 122, 131, 138.5, 146,155, 162.5) cm around chest at underarm Gauge: 21 sts and 31 rows = 4 inches/10 cm in stockinette stitch on gauge needle (preached) 20 sts and 30 rows = 4 inches/10 cm in stockinette stitch on gauge needle (washed and blocked)

I am the owner of Knitspot - knitting patterns, clubs, and artisan yarns. I am a life-long knitter with a background in the fashion and graphic design fields, and began designing clothing, knitwear and accessories during the 1970s. I teach and write about knitting, spinning, and designing at my blog, Knitspot. I live and work in Ohio with David, who loves wool, too. My design work/profile has been included in Knitty, The Knitter, Interweave Knits, and Twist Collective, Sock Club, Brave New Knits, as well as several upcoming publications. The complete catalog of Knitspot patterns is available for browsing and purchasing at http://www.knitspot.com/knitting_pattern/index.php Knitspot yarn clubs are reknowned for perfect pairings of luxury yarn and design, as well as the rollicking good fun in our Ravelry clubhouse where members meet, chat, and knit through club projects together. http://www.knitspot.com/clubs/index.html Our Bare Naked yarns are as close to the farm as a knitter can get, using fresh fiber produce from regional growers which is then spun into yarn at smaller artisan mills with which I have worked over the years. The collection is focused on single-breed pure wool yarns and exotic blends, with colors that range an entire array of natural tones—yarn the way nature made it. http://knitspot.com/knitting_pattern/yarn-c-21.html
