Pattern Details

For more of my patterns please visit: https://www.ravelry.com/designers/pat-alinejad Elderberry Bunny measures approximately 10 inches/28 cms from foot to top of the head, not including ears. The feet, legs and body are knitted in one piece. Head, ears, arms and tail are knitted separately and sewn on. All pieces are knitted flat and assembled, assembly guide is included. Pattern directions include: Elderberry Bunny; dress; bonnet; dungarees; hat and basket. Suggested yarns for plain knit bunny: Paintbox Simply Aran (1 ball) Caron Simply Soft (1 ball) Suggested yarn for a furry/fuzzy bunny: Eider by Wendy (1 ball) Phil Douce by Phildar (2 balls) Phil Nounous by Phildar (2 balls) Cuddly Chunky by King Cole (1 ball) Velour by Katia (2 balls) Eyelash yarns by Yarn Paradise Eskimo by Stylecraft (this is a double knit weight, your bear may well work up smaller). Notes to Knitters: Aran/Worsted weight is used for the contrasts. Please use the needle size quoted on the pattern rather than on the ball band. If you would prefer to use a plain double knit weight please use 2.5mm needle size, your bunny will be smaller. For outfits I would suggest using 4ply and the needle size quoted on the ball band. Yarns required for the outfits are listed with the outfit directions. Increases are work by knitting into the front and back of the same stitch. Please note before purchase this is an instant downloadable pattern. It is not a printed and posted pattern and it is not the finished item. Once payment is made your PDF pattern will be placed into your Craftsy account, located at the top right hand corner of your Craftsy page.

Recommended with this pattern

Huggable Bears
I learnt the art of knitting when I was about 5 years old. Even at that age I was never happy to follow a pattern, always wanting to try something different. After a shoulder injury I found I couldn't knit anything heavy and out of sheer boredom I found myself knitting a bear. I didn't like the finished bear and thought I could do better myself so after a lot of frustrating frogging Huggable Bear was born. I love creating these bears and other animals, or should I say watching them create themselves, no two are ever alike. You may sell, raffle or donate any finished items created from any designs on this page. Due to the digital nature of downloads, unfortunately no refunds will be given.
