ALL-Ways Cowl by Laura Nelkin… you’ll be done knitting it before you know it! A simple mix of garter and Stockinette stitch in the round with a pair of migrating ribbed strips to keep things fun! There are two versions of this pattern included with your purchase: * One is written for fingering weight yarn and migrating beads. * The second let’s you choose what size you want to make your cowl, and what weight yarn you want to use. All you need to know is how many sts per inch you get in garter st worked flat and blocked lightly. The pattern includes a formula for you to determine how many sts to cast on! You can make it smaller or bigger and with or without beads! There are a lot of ways to make this cowl! I live in upstate New York, where the sunny season is short, leaving plenty of time to be indoors knitting. Despite holding a degree in apparel design from Cornell University, I took to knitting years ago and I haven't looked back. Currently, I'm enamored with lace and incorporating beads into knitted jewelry, so most of my designs lean in this direction. I travel often to teach these techniques and more at workshops around the country and online with Craftsy. I have a line of knitting kits, self-publish patterns and run mystery knit-alongs multiple times a year. You can find some of these designs in my book, Knockout Knits. When I'm not designing or knitting, I'm gardening, whipping up yummy feasts with my family and taking time to play! Recently, I've developed a healthy addiction to yoga and I'm determined to master a tripod headstand and handstand!
