1st attempt at a simple basket setting

Had a little trouble getting all of the pieces soldered together correctly. Took me 3 tries and I finally got it right. Had it taken one more I might have given up as it's started getting expensive. But I'm so glad I kept with it because I love the way it came out. I just want to reiterate one of the tips that Nancy gave when it comes to soldering as there's so much to solder. In the video she uses hard solder throughout. However, even though I've been soldering for years, what worked for me was to use hard the first few times, then I moved to medium for the last few. The problem I was having was that I kept remelting the previously soldered areas and the jump ring kept popping apart. So by switching to medium solder in the middle, kept it together beautifully. Love this class!
