Summer Bouquet (class project)

What are you most proud of? I had never done bead embroidery before, so I am very pleased with how this turned out. The class really changed my impression of beading and I may be well on my way to becoming a bead addict. I think I have bought about every type of bead my local craft stores offer! What advice would you give someone starting this project? Be open to the potential of beading - it can be much more than just a bit of additional "bling" on an art quilt (which was my initial reason for taking the class).

Q&A with Sea Cat

StefaniaLintonb asked:
Stunning! How long did it take to embroider?
Sea Cat answered:
Hard to say since I didn't really keep track, plus there were several false starts where either the bead color or size wasn't right. But I'd guess it was at least 12 hours.
