Pattern Details

This easy clutch is sewn almost entirely in your machine embroidery hoop. The only part that is sewn on a regular sewing machine is the strap! There are 2 files required to complete the design in the free download. The first file is the front of the pouch that attaches the zipper and the strap. The second file is the finishing step that sews the clutch back to the front. I have the finishing step in a separate file to allow you to add any other decorative design that you may have to the front of the clutch, before the machine sews the last step. This pattern requires an embroidery machine that can embroider designs at least 5’’ x 7’’. The following formats are included: JEF VP3 DST EXP HUS PES PCS EMD Visit my blog at www.sewcanshe.com/blog/2018/7/27/in-the-hoop-zipper-clutch-free-design to see a video tutorial. Have fun!

My name is Caroline and I want to inspire you to sew by showing you something beautiful every day. I have four children and a room full of fabric. Sewing has been my passion for as long as I can remember. Since I started having kids most of my sewing is for them and our home. For years now my browser's bookmark files have been filling up with project ideas that I need to try. It's helpful because people often ask me if I know how they can make such-and-such, and I tell them I'll just go home and email you the link to a tutorial. Well, now I get to share those tutorials with anyone who will look (or sign up for my newsletter). If you follow along with us on She Sews! the SewCanShe blog, we'll explore new tricks and techniques and show off our work every Saturday in our linky party.
