Cat Nap was inspired by our three beautiful gray striped tiger kitties Vera and her two sons Charlie and Sebastian. One of the kitties is always sleeping on the wing chair in the kitchen of our old farmhouse. We're a "cat family" and our kitties are allowed to sleep on the furniture. They do a great job keeping the critters at bay here on the farm. If you have your own favorite kitty, pick out your kitty's colors and work it in place of the gray stripes. You could also "design" a different fabric for your chair in place of the bright and eye-popping flowers I have on my chair. Only three stitches are needed for this design: Outline Stitch, Chain Stitch, and Satin Stitch. There are complete and clear illustrations of How-To Stitch each one. The pattern also includes close-up photos of the design. This 10 page PDF pattern includes: Complete instructions for cutting fabric, centering and transferring the design to the fabric including 3 methods of transfer - light table/window, dressmaker's tracing paper and Sulky Iron-On Transfer paper Complete how-to illustrations of the stitches you will need Close-up photos of key design points so it is easy for your to re-create the design The design template to transfer to your fabric using tracing paper or light table The reversed design template to transfer using a Sulky Iron-on Marker Paternayan Persian Colors used with matching DMC Cotton Embroidery Floss Shades BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY Outline Stitch, Chain Stitch, Satin Stitch SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS 12 x 12" square pillow, can also be larger depending on size of fabric used
