LIVE FREE-The Majestic Elephant

Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this piece. I used acrylic paints and some of the techniques for application from this class. Most of the time when I paint, it comes right from the heart. Not only do I see what I want to paint, I feel it come alive. When it speaks to me, that is when I know it's ready to meet the world. Is the piece for sale? No What are you most proud of? I am most proud of the fact that I am self-taught and always strive for better ways to improve myself my taking classes and learning different methods. I can only say thanks to those artists who have inspired me along the way. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Well, I hand draw everything I do on canvas. I think having a projection system would surely help for such a large piece; but I always feel a true work of art is exactly how you depict it and not always as it's drawn to be by outlining the exact shape. A work of art is a work of your own imagination.
