Project

apple

Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this piece. I am using the 24 set of Polychromos, which are new to me. I was using Prismacolor Premier (72) and had more color choices. I also do not yet have a blender marker...so I used a small painters brush and alcohol...but it made the paper buckle a little. I feel like I was heavy-handed on the shadowing. I am having a hard time with mixing colors that create a more nuanced look...And I don't feel like the shape is right...also how do you make the edges crisp without losing the integrity of the image's realism? I am a perfectionist and cringe a little to share this b/c it is not what I want it to be. But I need to learn better technique! Is the piece for sale? No
