Simply Spiraled Tunisian Blanket

What advice would you give someone starting this project? I had a hard time working the corners in the beginning. Then I realized that if I put a stitch marker in the first stitch of each decrease row and left it there till I started back down it was very easy to find row 6, row 5, etc. It helped me a lot, and I actually got to a point where I (almost) didn't need them. I also always put my hook through both loops at the end of each row instead of just the front loop, because Jennifer Hansen totally drilled that into us in her Craftsy class, and it also made my corners tighten up.

Q&A with Robin_S

Ellen Blacklidge asked:
How many skeins did you use for this?
Robin_S answered:
I believe I used 10 skeins. I just checked my orders. Of course, I then added the borders to fill it out to fit a double bed and used other yarn. If I had done that with the Bernat Mosaic, I probably would have needed 12 skeins.
