Free form lunch bag

While taking the Freeform crochet course, I discovered the old grocery bag I was using as a lunch bag was getting torn and full of big holes. Rather than tossing it I used it as a base for my 1st freeform crochet project. I have shown all four panels for each of the sides. I attached them to the base bag two ways. I blanket stitched around some of the edges so I could crochet them directly to the bag. I also used carpet tape. The carpet tape is sticky on two sides and worked like a charm. I put strips across and down all sides. The bottom (not shown) is just a rectangle of dark-coloured single crochets. I put a rectangle of an old towel inside on the bottom which I also attached with carpet tape, then taped the edges down with blue duct tape. I left the old handles. They are comfortable and look fine.
