Presenting the first blanket in my free Yarn Stash Series - the V Stitch Blanket! This blanket really is a classic that anyone can tackle. All you need is a bunch of your favourite colour yarns - as many or as few as you like - and you're away. Using just a one row repeat this is the perfect beginner project to practise your technique and tension. The series will include blankets made with approximately 200g of double knit yarn using a 5mm/H hook. The free download pattern has step by step tutorial photographs and written instructions, with links to my blog for more hints and tips too. So whether you want a therapeutic project to bust your yarn stash or are ready to start reading patterns and developing technique, this is just the thing for you. I am always available to help and love staying in contact with everyone - please share your work with me on Facebook or visit www.hanjancrochet.com to find out what I'm up to next! Enjoy! Hannah BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY You will need to know the very basics of crochet including chains and treble stitches. SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS The finished blanket measures 65cm by 75cm but is easy to adapt to any size you would like.
