I am in LOVE with everything about these slipper boots! The fit is FABULOUS...I have had several comment about how comfortable they are! The versatility is great too...create several different looks with one pattern. And let's not forget how stylish they are. They're perfect for gifts, but let's not kid'll need to make yourself at least one pair! ;) The sizes included in this pattern are U.S. Women's 5/6, 7/8, 9/10 & 11/12. ***Kid's sizes are currently being tested and will be released on Tuesday, 11/18/14.*** Yarn Info: For this pattern I've used both a Bulky Weight & a Worsted Weight. My favorite go-to Bulky is Lion Brand Wool Ease Chunky, however, pattern testers have also used Loops n Threads Charisma and 2 strands of WW with much success. For the Worsted Weight yarn, I personally have used Vanna's Choice, Lion Brand Heartland & Bernat SHEEP(ish) Stripes. Testers have used others such as Red Heart Super Saver, Loops n Threads, Red Heart Soft. Yardage: Bulky (220-230 yards) & Worsted Weight (180 yards) ***Slipper Boot design is an 'A Crocheted Simplicity' Original Design. A Crocheted Simplicity
I'm a self-taught crafter, of a variety of different crafts and mediums. My latest passion has been crocheting! Just over a year ago, we moved up to God's country where the winters can be really long. I needed something to do to pass the time and keep me warm, crocheting was just that "thing"! I found that making blankets for wedding gifts, also helped to keep me warm during the day. lol I recieved alot of positive feedback from the items I created and was urged by many friends and family to "sell my designs", so thus it began, my journey into writing crochet patterns and A Crocheted Simplicity was opened! I hope you enjoy them as much as I do! :) Jennifer
