Pattern Details

Sizes: This pullover is sized from Women’s XS - 3XL and includes instructions to customize the overall length of the pullover and the sleeves. Yarn: I used Lion Brand Heartland for the pullover in the photos. Testers used a variety of other yarns such as Lion Brand One Pound, Lion Brand Wool Ease, Caron Simply Soft, Red Heart Soft, Deborah Norville Everyday Soft Worsted and one was even able to meet gauge with a lighter shade of Red Heart Super Saver (lighter shades tend to be lighter weights). Yardage: The yardage for this pullover varies from 1,250 yards (XS) up to 2,000 yards (3X). Hook: I used a 6.5mm crochet hook for this garment design. The 4mm hook that is listed is only for the small belt that wraps around the cowl neck. Make sure to make the small gauge swatch on page 2 and adjust your hook to meet gauge. Since this is a garment, gauge is very important. ;) Pattern: The pattern itself is very clearly written and has been tested by several crocheters at all different skill levels to assure it’s easy enough to read for even a confident beginner. The pattern is 20 pages long and includes photos for any and all spots that may need clarification. Pullover design is an A Crocheted Simplicity original design. I'm a self-taught crafter, of a variety of different crafts and mediums. My latest passion has been crocheting! Just over a year ago, we moved up to God's country where the winters can be really long. I needed something to do to pass the time and keep me warm, crocheting was just that "thing"! I found that making blankets for wedding gifts, also helped to keep me warm during the day. lol I recieved alot of positive feedback from the items I created and was urged by many friends and family to "sell my designs", so thus it began, my journey into writing crochet patterns and A Crocheted Simplicity was opened! I hope you enjoy them as much as I do! :) Jennifer
