As a mom of 2 boys, I've noticed over the years that most crocheted sweaters are designed for girls only. I wanted to design something that would really work for both boys and girls, and even when you don't know which kind of baby you're crafting for! The Sven Sweater is crocheted top down, and each piece is joined as you go, so there's no seaming. The unique color pattern design gives this pattern an intermediate rating, and the PDF includes a link to a tutorial video which fully explains and demonstrates the technique. Change up the colors, the buttons, the hood - this sweater lends itself to endless personalization, and is one you can make again and again. American English and Spanish versions are included. PLEASE NOTE: Because there is an American English version and a separate Spanish version, they are in a Zip File. To get to the patterns you need to "extract" them. You can do a search on how to extract zipped files, or if you still need more help, please email me at with a copy of your receipt, and I will email you the PDF of the version you need. Thank you!
