Combine join-as-you-go motifs and mock ribbing that?s worked side to side to create this artful layering cardigan. Worked entirely from squares and rectangles, you won?t have to worry about any shaping?various stitch heights give the ribbed skirt its? swing. It?s a great garment for those who want to keep the crocheting simple. SHOWN IN: Malabrigo Arroyo, 100% superwash merino, 335 yds 310 m/3.5 oz 100g; 3 (3, 3, 4, 4, 5, 5, 5) skeins Prussia Blue MC, 1 (1, 1, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2) skeins in Glitter CC. Yardage note- each motif center takes about 5 yards of yarn, so if you are making a different size, you can multiply that by the # of motifs to make for your size to determine the exact amount needed. It would also be a wonderful way to hilight DK weight scraps. You'll need approximately: 210 (230, 320, 345, 370, 420, 445, 470) yards- personally I would add a bit of wiggle room, too. Styling/Photos by Hannah Thiessen (first 2 photos).
