Though theoretically a scarf, the subtle angling along the border suggests the narrowest of shawls. Inspired by Katherine Matthews' knit work, this scarf pairs a traditionally crocheted border with a Tunisian simple-stitch-and-purl body. The border is worked first; afterward, the body is picked up in Tunisian crochet row by row. String Theory Caper Sock offers the perfect combination of stitch definition and graceful movement, or use 100 grams of your favorite sock yarn for your own unique creation. One skein makes a generous scarf.
