This listing is for my new Oversized Chunky Shrug crochet pattern. This pattern is offered for sale as a digital file (pdf), available for you to download directly from your Craftsy Pattern Library once your payment has been processed. This cuddly shrug looks great over long or short sleeved tops and is very comfortable. My pattern has been specifically designed with the crochet beginner in mind and uses only simple stitches. If you can work in rows making chains, single crochet and double crochet PLUS follow a written pattern you have the skills to make this shrug! One size is included in this pattern i.e. "one size fits most". The design is meant to be oversized but this will obviously depend on the size of the wearer! My model is a US Size 6 (Australian 10). The pattern is easy to adjust should you wish to make a different size. All my patterns are written in American crochet terminology. You will require chunky (US = Bulky/5, UK = Chunky/Rug, Aus = 14ply) weight yarn. The samples were made using Patons Stella (now discontinued) and Lion Brand Wool-Ease Chunky (available at time of writing) in Silver Grey. All my patterns (including the photos) are copyrighted. You may not copy, sell or distribute my pattern. Thanks for looking and have a great day! I first learned to crochet at school camp when I was about 11 years old. I have crochted on and off for years but really took it up again with a vengeance about seven years ago as a way to keep myself stimulated (and sane!) whilst being home with my two babies. I now have a successful pattern design business which I love. My head is constantly full of ideas and my house overflows with balls of yarn! Come check me out at Thanks for stopping by! Britta.
