Pattern Details

A simple, delicate lace pattern and the soft tencel yarn combine to create a transitional weather scarf with excellent drape. This pattern is available for FREE on my blog. Skills Used Basic crochet stitches: chain, double crochet, single crochet Crocheting flat in rows Increasing, decreasing by skipping stitches and spaces, crocheting in chain spaces Special stitches: partial shell and shell (with written explanation provided in pattern) Skill Level Intermediate Finished Size Adult: 5” (13 cm) wide x 74” (188 cm) long before blocking; 5.5” (14 cm) wide x 78” (198 cm) long after blocking. Materials Teresa Ruch Designs Tencel 3/2 yarn (100% tencel, 4 oz/113 g/312 yd/285 m) – 1 skein in Orange, or approximately 312 yd (285 m) in any light weight tencel yarn. US Size F-5/3.75 mm crochet hook, or size needed to obtain gauge. Yarn needle. Gauge 18 sts x 10 rows = 4” (10 cm) in pattern before blocking. Exact gauge is not critical for this project.
