PATTERN DETAILS

Juliette Shawl Free Crochet Pattern Intermediate Skill Level Designed by Jessie Rayot Every year I walk in the St. Patrick's Day parade with my Girl Scout troop. This year I decided I needed a shawl. Juliette is perfect for the coming spring, as it's open design keeps it from being too warm. The circular design keeps it from falling off, so no worries of losing my shawl somewhere on the parade route! Juliette is named after Juliette Gordon Low, the founder of the Girl Guides, which became the Girl Scouts. I used 1 scrumptious Frabjous Fibers Mad Hatter Mini Skein pack to create this vision in green. Size: 24" long Yarn: Frabjous Fibers Mad Hatter Mini Skein pack in Lime to Turquoise Shadow Color Morph Hook: US H/8/5 mm Gauge: 18 sts x 9 rows = 4" in dc *it is OK if your gauge is a little tighter (more sts/rows in 4") but if your gauge is looser (less sts/rows in 4") you will not have enough yarn to make the color changes as written in the pattern. Stitches and Skills used: ch ~ chain sl st ~ slip stitch sc ~ single crochet dc ~ double crochet st(s) ~ stitch(es) sp(s) ~ space(s) SUGGESTED YARN 230 yards of DK weight PREFERRED BRAND/YARN Frabjous Fibers Mad Hatter Mini Skein Pack COLORWAY Lime to Turquoise Shadow Color Morph

Once upon a time I was a professional costume designer/builder. Then I met a boy. You know how that goes. Now I am a Stay At Home Mom in NJ. We have twin girls who were born in July '07. The artist in me can not stay still, and we could use more income, so here I am! I love creating knit and crochet patterns, sewing (obviously!), book making, well...creating just about anything. We also have a creative hobby. In some of our free time we are Medieval Re-creationists. You can learn more about me, and see lots of fun snaps of my children and other creations on my blog, ~or~ You can keep tabs on my creations on my facebook page, both are linked below with my other crafty pages. Thanks for stopping by! Jessie
