Pattern Details

This pattern is published as a free CAL (Crochet Along) in my blog http://chabepatterns.com/hop-hop-charlie-free-cal/. This listing is for the formatted and more portable PDF crochet pattern, which is a 10 page document (with photo tutorials). Just note that instructions have already been released in four parts in the free CAL. This PDF document comes with round by round written instructions, also includes a chart for the front of the top to draw the carrot and photo tutorials for important steps in the process. Making Hop-Hop Charlie will be both fun and interesting. Work the body parts easily, with simple crochet stitches and give Intarsia Crochet a try (in case you don't already know the technique) to make the carrot in the T-shirt. A small drawing for you to discover the amazing possibilities of this other way of color work in crochet. This PDF document comes with round by round written instructions, also includes a chart for the front of the top to draw the carrot and photo tutorials for important steps in the process. FINISHED SIZE 19.7”/ 50 cm tall STITCHES AND TECHNIQUES Single Crochet Slip Stitch Half Double Crochet Intarsia Crochet: Color work technique where yarns are switched to form a drawing. Each area of color is worked with separate threads, without carrying additional colors in between the stitches or leaving floats on the back side, creating a double-sided project. My name is Maria Isabel, I started knitting and crocheting when I was a young girl. My mom is my first and best teacher. Starting with scarves I discovered the beautiful world of this craft. But it was when I finished my degree in Information Design that I really started getting more into knitting and crocheting techniques. I attended several lessons in local yarn stores and soon was able to follow patterns both in spanish and english. Then I started creating my own designs and found out I could also write the instructions for them when someone asked me to. I also became a knitting teacher in one of those LYS learning even more from each student that comes into this world. So now Im taking the next step into publishing my patterns and sharing my ideas. Hope you like them.
