PATTERN DETAILS

The candy cane colored spirals on this fun elf hat will bring a smile to your face. Available in toddler to adult sizes, this pattern is fun and whimsical! By using Red Heart Super Saver with a smaller hook the hat is stiff enough that it stands tall. Show off your holiday spirit and whip one of these up for your next Christmas party. After making the white, red, and green hat, my daughter Kyla told me I needed to make another one with greens and a yellow "puff" on top so it looked like a Christmas tree. Who am I to say no to such creativity?! So that is how the tree version seen in some of the photos came to be ? Once upon a time I was a professional costume designer/builder. Then I met a boy. You know how that goes. Now I am a Stay At Home Mom in NJ. We have twin girls who were born in July '07. The artist in me can not stay still, and we could use more income, so here I am! I love creating knit and crochet patterns, sewing (obviously!), book making, well...creating just about anything. We also have a creative hobby. In some of our free time we are Medieval Re-creationists. You can learn more about me, and see lots of fun snaps of my children and other creations on my blog, ~or~ You can keep tabs on my creations on my facebook page, both are linked below with my other crafty pages. Thanks for stopping by! Jessie
