I have been designing knitting and crochet patterns for over 40 years. My patterns are developed to be as easy as possible without compromising on design and to be flattering and functional. I do a lot of research before I proceed with an idea to keep my designs original, fresh and unique. Should you ever need assistance, I am always available. My mother taught me as a young child to use my hands to create. Through our family art gallery, jewellery studio and woollen mill, I was able to explore and learn many ways to take very little and make something wonderful. Designing and creating knit, crochet and sewing patterns has been a integral part of my life. I was also very fortunate to be able to learn Flemish Bobbin Lace from the nuns in Brugge, Belgium and British Lace in Tiverton, England. To take a piece of plain simple thread and watch an amazing intricate heirloom take form is really quite a satisfying experience, whichever technique is used. I am also an artist, painting in oils, acrylics and pastels. As an animal advocate, I donate many pet sketches to Rabbit Rescue. My paintings, as well as jewelry, photography and other creations have been collected by people from all over the world. My passion for creating seems to grow with age. This is how I have come to showcase my patterns on the world wide web. I hope you will find my patterns easy to work up and be thrilled with the finished item!
