Empanadas

Share a little about the ingredients and techniques used to create this dish/item. I made some empanadas today using the South American Bread Dough as my crust. The filling was pork with potatoes, carrots, peas, and raisins. I used chicken broth in place of the water and fried the empanadas. It came out really good and crispy. It was a hit with my husband and friends! This recipe is a keeper. Thanks Sandra :-D

Yes you can absolutely put an egg wash and bake. I've done that too!
