I absolutely LOVE this cake!! You did an awesome job!! I assume cake is covered with fondant? How did you do lines on cake? Do you have templates for teddy, clothing etc? I have to do a cake for a baby shower and would love to try this one!! Any tips you can give would be greatly appreciated!!!
TammyJapan answered:
The straight lines between "boards" on the fence were made by dipping the side of a ruler in brown air brush color and pressing it against the side of the cake. I then painted the woodgrain with the same color and used petal dust to add more color. Don't add the petal dust until you know the airbrush color is completely dry, or dust first-outline second. The teddy and clothes were hand drawn on paper first and then transferred to gumpaste. I used petal dust and q-tips to color the teddy and airbrush color to outline it. I will see if I can add a couple of "in progress" shots so you can see.
