Here’s what one Craftsy member had to say about the new App:

“We went to the Apple Store the day after the new Apple TV was released (I was hoping to talk hubby into upgrading). I was so thrilled to find that there was a Craftsy App already there and ready to use…. Once hubby saw me flip out over that we walked out with the new Apple TV because he knew we weren’t leaving without it. –Nancy

I think the new Apple TV is the first to be connected to the App Store.

I agree–I’d love to see Craftsy offer a Roku app!

How’s the Chromecast integration into the iOS app coming along?

Too bad there’s no app for the Fire TV (stick). And the Android app also doesn’t really work on my phone so that’s not an option, either.

I also would love to have a link for the Fire Stick, I have Chromecast, but the Fire Stick is so much easier to operate, one remote not having to fool with the other device that keeps going to sleep it’s such a pain in my opinion. Anyway, I’m glad to see that this can be brought to the television as the screen is so much easier on the eyes!

Great, another Apple enhancement! How about spending some of my money for android? Still waiting for a way to take my classes offline on android!

I agree, a Roku app at some point in the future would be awesome. We have a Roku on both the TVs in our house so we’re pretty committed. I hope this is in the works because I agree having it on my TV would be much easier at times.

Will this only work on the new (alot more expensive) apple tv? I bought 2 just a couple weeks ago, the new one wasn’t out yet. I bought apple so I could watch Craftsy mirroring my Iphone.

How unfortunate, that none of the classes actually play on this VERY EXPENSIVE Apple TV I purchased ONLY for use with my Craftsy classes. I am bitterly unhappy about it stopping 2 seconds in on EVERY class! So until this is fixed I suggest people SAVE their money since it does not work.

Love Craftsy….but like others, I’m so disappointed not to be able to view it on my Apple TV. It is an older version.

Although an actual Apple TV app would be nice, you don’t need it to view a class on your Apple TV. Use AirPlay. I run the class on my iPhone or iPad and AirPlay OT to my (older) Apple TV. Works great.

That said, I have a Roku on the TV I would rather use for my classes, and would love to see an app for Roku.

Ignore the OT in that comment! It’s a typo. I’m pretty sure I meant “it”.
